Water Supply Engineering of Da Qing Oil Field Water Supply Company :
The project adopted DN600, DN700, DN800 reinforced plastics mortar pipe (herein after called RPMP) with the working pressure of 0.6~0.8Mpa. The total length is 18.6 km. The pipe line crossed certain marshland and river, among them 1.5 km in the marshland. The project started from July, 1994 and put into operation in the same year. Up to now, more than 10 years have passed, but the operation is still fine and efficient.
Engineering Works of Drawing Tide into the City by Beijing Huanen Power Plant:
In order to meet the needs of water consumption by the Huanen Power Plant and Beijing No.1 Thermal Power Plant the whole line of the project adopted nearly 40 km FRP popes of DN600, DN700 and DN900 and nearly 30 km no pressure cement pipes. After putting into operation from 1997,the operation remains fine and quality accident never have happened。 The project is the longest distance FRP water transport pipe in our country and also the longest FRP water transport pipe at present.
Houma Diversion Works in Shangxi Province :
The design rate of flow of the project is 0.43m 3 /s or 37 thousand m 3 per day. The burring depth of the pipe is 1.2~2.0m.The project selected FRP pipe with diameter of DN600 and pressure of 0.6Mpa and 0.8MPa. The test run carried out on July 1, 1998 and gained success in its first test run. There is no leakage in the whole line of 26 km. There is also no breakage, leakage and vibration through the operation of nearly one year. After the practical examination, it is proved that the water conservancy data of flow rate and lost in peak flow in the pipe line is superior to other material pipes.
Jiangnin Diversion Works in Jiangsu Province :
In order to solve the problem of daily water consumption of the citizen and the problem of lower quality water supply in a short period, Jiangnin County decided to raise funds independently to start the project of taking the original water from Yangtze river to the Water Plant. According to the geological situation the waters supply company of Jiangnin County selected the plan that by using RPMP and steel pipe in combination after times of tests and scientifical design. The project applied RPMP of DN 1,200mm with 0.6 Mpa working pressure in the 18 km water supply line.For saving the cost of transportation, our company adopted the scheme of fabricating the RPMP pipe on site, thus the project saved the investment for about 10 million Yuan. Jiangnin Yangtze River Diversion works had its first test run in success. It has invested no one cent for maintaining and operation, which show fine.
Diversion Works of Ningxia Chemical Plant Second Water Resource :
The diversion works of Ningxia Chemical is serving for the water supply of second sets of fertilizer .The design quantity of daily water supply is about 60 thousand tons. The original plan of the project adopted DN600, DN700 nodular cast iron pipe. But later on changed into DN550, DN500, and DN400 RPMP with a working pressure of 0.6-0.8Mpa. The total length of the pipe line is 41 km. The project also applied different kinds of tee, elbow, reducing pipe and flange short pipe, altogether about 809 pieces. There are more than 120 on site connections in the pipe line, so the different kinds of joints summed up for about 4,000.The erection started from April 1998 and put into operation in the same year .After separate pressure test, the whole line pressure test succeeded in its first run. The success of the project saved 5 million Yuan for Ningxia Chemical Plant. We were praised by the relative department of Ningxia Autonomous Region.
Water Transport Engineering of Taicang Second Water Supply plant :
The project takes water from Yangtze River and distributes to the user after treatment. The water transmission line adopted DN 1,200, DN 1,000 RPMP with 0.6Mpa working pressure and a total length of 30km .The soil condition in Taicang area is comparatively worse. The underground water level is comparatively higher. So it requires the pipe with certain stiffness and high requirement for the dependability of the pipe material. In order to meet the requirement of the engineering. Our company adopted new technology, so as to keep the pipe material performance in conformity and raise the reliability of the project. Examed by Tongji University, the tolerance of the pipe wall thickness is only Q ± 0.6mm, it is much better than the products from other manufacturers in the same circle. The first test run was very successful and the operation has been good till now.
The Diversion Works of Qi Tai He Power Plant :
The project adopted DN 700mm FRP pipe with working pressure of 0.6~1.0Mpa and a total length of 10 km, the burying depth about 1.5m. It adopted double “0”type seal ring in socket connection and connected on the site .Some parts of the fitting were made in the worksite. The erection was completed in Oct .1998. The pressure test in first trial was successful and the operation has been fine.
The Project of Taking Water Into the City of Shijingzhuang :
The project of adopted DN 1,000mm FRP pipe with a total length of 6.8 Km, working pressure of 0.6 Mpa , burying depth about 1.5m, using more than 30 fittings. The pipe line transports the river water of which treated by the sewage treatment plant .It requires the river water keeping clean. The operation has been good from 1998 till now and there is no any quality problem happened.
The Huludao Water Supply Project of Liaoning Province :
The project supplies 300 thousand tons water daily to Huludao City. It adopted DN1,200,DN1,000 FRP pipe with a length of 30 Km and DN 1,000 lower pressure cement pipe with a length of 39 km .The pressure of the FRP pipe is 1.2 Mpa , 1.0Mpa,0.8Mpa and 0.6Mpa .The FRP pipe line cuts through 6 rivers two mountain areas and 6 hilly lands. The whole line adopted FRP fittings about 700. After the pressure test and carrying water operation, it proved perfect. To adopt DN 1,200 mm 1.2Mpa FRP pipe in Huludao project is the first practice in our country, the project is undoubtedly raised the level of manufacturing technology and working technology on FRP pipe of our company due to the high pressure requirement and varied topography.
Shishi Diversion Works of Fujian Province :
The project adopted DN 1,200, DN 1,400 FRP pipe with a total length of 33.2km, working pressure 0.4Mpa and 0.6Mpa. The design vacuum degree is 1kg/cm 2. The burying depth is about 2~2.5m. The water depth over the pipe top surface is about 1m. The project used 500 different kinds of fittings. The pipe line cuts through 8 rivers, one railway line and one freeway .The underground water level is comparatively higher in Shishi area and the soil condition is comparatively worse, so it brings the big trouble for the construction. After repairing the pipe base and adjusting the pipe design data, through examination, the pressure test in the test part succeeded and now the project is putting into operation.
The Diversion Works of Zhangzhou Second Water Supply Plant :
The project adopted DN 900mm FRP pipe with a working pressure of 0.6Mpa. 0.8Mpa and 5,000N/m 2 stiffness and a total length about 12.8 km. It used different kinds of fittings about 300 and now the project is putting into operation.
Yingkou Sewage Treatment Engineering :
The project is the first phase engineering of Yingkou sewage treatment. It adopted DN 1,800 , DN1,600 and DN1,400 FRP pipe with a working pressure of 0.2Mpa. Because the underground water level is comparatively higher and soil is spongy in Yingkou area .The construction place is just under the roadbed, so it must bear the road construction load from the heavy variation by the road roller. In this case, the FRP pipe must be the high stiffness pipe for the requirement, and the construction must be carried out carefully. The scheme must be scientifically. So, our company adopted separate stiffness of 10,000N/m2 and 7,500 N/m2 pipes. With the support of construction unit, design unit and owner unit, the project is completed successfully. The project opened the beginning of large size FRP pipe constructed and buried under the main roadbed .Now the project has been put into operation and the operation is fine.
Baoshan Third Water Supply Plant of Yunnan Province :
The untreated water transportation engineering of Bao Shan Third Water Supply Plant is constructed for solving the water supply shortage of the city. The supply capacity is 30 thousand tons per day .The total length of the pipe line is 14.8 km. The water fetching place situates in the Beimiao reservoir. Among them, Start from 0+000-0+165 of the stakes using DN1, 000 steel pipe to connect with the DN1,400 pipe of the reservoir's original pipe, and from 0+165-2+184 of the stakes using DN1,000 RPMP, from 2+084-14-246 of the stakes using DN600 RPMP . The whole pipe line adopted gravitational water method to transport water. The biggest working pressure difference is 0.8Mpa.
Guangzhou Nanzhou water factory project
Our company was responsible for the Guangzhou Nanzhou water factory project in January, 2003. This project adopted the GFRP pipe with DN 2200. The length is 19 kilometer. This project is the longest in the distance and uses the pipes with the diameter bigger than 2000 we have contracted.
Tangshan city Cao Feidian industrial zone water supply project
Our company contracted two sections of the Tangshan city Caofeidian industrial zone water supply in 2003 and 2004. It adopts the DN 1200 GFRP pipe. The length is 22 kilometers. And this project is located in the Tanghai county, Tangshan city. And it belongs to seacoast region. The soil condition is sand. The work condition is very trial. Zhongyi Company concentrated its technical strength and overcame various difficulties. And it finished the production and the erection in the required time. It obtained the praise of the owner. The supervisor aspect all considered this project which Zhongyi was responsible for as the excellent project.
The Project of Taking the E ER Qi Si River water to Urumqi of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region
In March, 2002, Zhongyi GFRP Company contracted the first phase of the project of Xiao Wa Cao Counter Siphon Engineering in the project of taking the E Er Qi Si River water to Urumqi by using FRP pipe. The project is a national main construction and it is also a largest in size and longest in distance FRP pipe line in China at present time. The project adopted DN3, 100mm FRP pipe with a length of 10324m, working pressure of 0.46Mpa and stiffness of 7500Mpa .The construction condition of the project is worse, construction is hard and difficult, The construction period is comparatively long and now the project is nearly over.
